The Company is primarily focused on its flagship Bounty Gold Project, located 100km southeast of Southern Cross, in WA’s goldfields. The Bounty Gold Project includes a tenement package of 42.06 km2 centered on the historic Bounty Gold Mine that produced 1.2 million ounces of gold over a 12 year period between 1989 and 2001.
Convergent Minerals owns 100% of the Bounty Gold Project, and with an existing resource base, significant infrastructure in place, and an extensive exploration database with numerous targets to follow up, Bounty represents a golden opportunity.
Through the reevaluation of existing JORC resources, Convergent aims to be a near- to mid-term gold producer, with the potential to significantly expand the resource base via ongoing exploration of the highly prospective ground holdings.
In addition, the Company has recently acquired the nickel rights throughout the tenement package, which is situated within the Southern Cross (Forrestania) greenstone belt; a proven nickel district.
